The AE Foxfire Youth Team is made up of young people between the ages of 18 and 25 who give a year of their lives to the service of God’s Kingdom. Those who join our programme have a desire to bring the truth of the gospel message to young people all over South Africa. Teams visit schools, youth groups, churches, children’s homes, prisons, clinics and colleges in and around the cities in which they are based.

Leadership Programmes

Our leadership training targets school leaders and the skills they learn will help them to make a positive contribution in their schools. The training covers topics such as integrity, values, vision, servant attitude and conflict management. It is an activity based programme and the structure is in a tree shape which is very clear and creative for young people.

Life Skills

The Foxfires facilitate Life Skills lessons in schools. They have been properly trained to deal with issues like drugs, sex, alcohol, career guidance, conflict management, vision/goal setting, action planning, communication and public speaking. We also provide one-on-one counselling with learners.

Evangelism and Discipleship

The Foxfire Ministry partners with churches to do evangelism and outreach in communities. Churches would then follow up on those young people who make first time commitments to follow Christ. Training in evangelism is part of our work with churches. We also walk alongside youth leaders to help their youth ministry function more effectively. We incorporate dance, drama, testimonies, poetry, and audio-visual presentations in our programme in order to be relevant to young people.
